"Less than a minute" lasts for 20 minutes or more

I am using TI Home 2011, When I recover "folders and files" the progress bar goes from 0 to about 99 and stops. At the same time the remaining time goes from that calculated to "Less than one minute and stops for 20 minutes or more and then a pop-up tells me to reboot NOW or the recovery will be cancelled.
I understand what might be going on but it would be nice if another pop up appeared right after "Less than one minute" telling us to be patient and apprx. how long we have to wait for the REBOOT pop up. Also the Reboot now or cancelled should be removed.
