Linux based Acronis True Image Home 2012 bootable media does not recognize my USB flash memory

Thread needs solution

Hallo,

I tried to make with linux-based bootable media of Acronis True Image Home 2012 a system report from boot menu entry. The program asks after booting for plug in of an USB flash drive ("Please plug in a USB flash drive") , but if I have plug in the USB flash memory to USB slot, the program does not recognize it, but the flash memory blinks after plug in some seconds. Also an USB hard drive is not recognized, but this I can access, if I boot "Acronis True Image" from boot menu instead of "Acronis System Report". Motherboard of computer is an AsRock K7VT4A+ with AMD Sempron 2600+ processor and has 4 USB slots (2 in back, 2 in front). I tried the one in front.

The USB flash memory works on my normal installed windows (Win XP) and also on my linux (openSuSE 11.2) installation (dual boot desktop computer), but not with bootable linux from Acronis. Has somebody an idea, why this does not work? How can I check USB connection in linux console (there are only few linux commands available, i.e. "busybox fdisk -l" command and where I can "mount /dev/sdd1 /mnt" the USB flash memory successfully) from bootable media?
