Lost all my scheduled backups
I restored my C: drive to an earlier date and then began getting error messages on my D: drive backup, saying that it could not find the file referenced. I followed the instructions for Knowledge Base article 49478. That instructed me to press "Ignore" and a new backup would be created. Not only did it not create a new backup, all my scheduled backups are now toast. When I start Acronis, all I see is a screen to backup my entire computer. I attempted to add an existing backup and restore just the Acronis files, but was unable to make that happen either. Do I have any choices other than to just start from scratch?

Steve:
Thanks for the response. This doesn't seem to be an option for me as I cannot even get back to my previously scheduled backups. Since I only have two scheduled backups, I think that I will just redo them. My question at this point, though, is whether that will clear out the old scheduled items as they are still trying to do their thing. I can't delete them because I can't see them. How can I just "clean the slate" and start over?

Robert, download the Acronis Scheduler Manager tool from the link in my signature then run this as Administrator and it will let you get rid of all your old scheduled tasks.
When you run the tool you will see a Command prompt type Window open up, type in the command task zap and this will remove all old scheduled tasks to allow you to make a clean start again.

I continue to have problems with the program. I rescheduled my backups. but I cannot see them when I open Acronis. Upon opening, I am offered the option of making a full system backup only. None of my scheduled backups show and I cannot find a way to see or edit them. I tried to "Add Backup," but that didn't do anything. This all happened since I did the restore to earlier date. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall? Seems like something is corrupted in the program files.

Robert, sorry to hear you are still having problems.
Try doing a Repair install first before going for a full uninstall and clean install of the software.
To do a Repair, download the latest version ATIH installer from your Acronis account and simply run this over the top of your existing software. This should correct any issues with the program itself but will leave your backup tasks in place.
If you still see a problem, then follow the steps shown in topic: [How to] uninstall a previous installation for doing a clean install of ATIH but please note that this will remove all task configuration and history information, so you will need to create your backup tasks again.

Steve, Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry to be so dense, but downloading the Cleanup Tool (ATIH 2010-2017) from your reply seems to want me to uninstall not repair. I searched the website for ATIH and did not get any hits. Have missed something here?

Robert, you need to go to the main Acronis.com website and sign in with your Acronis account credentials (email + password) and this will give you a list of your registered products and the option to download the latest installer for these.
This is what you need to do the Repair install. The Acronis Cleanup Tool is only for removing all traces of Acronis products from your computer.

Thanks Steve. No joy with the repair option. I'll go with the uninstall and reinstall.
