Mount or Access TIB files without True Image

Thread needs solution

I made some backups using True Image Home 2010.
I had to uninstall True Image Home 2010 because the software wouldn't work on my system.
After a few months, I needed to access one of the backup (TIB file) made in True Image Home 2010. For this I downloaded True Image Home 2012 Trial and used that to mount the volume. I recently needed to access the same archive again. Unfortunately the 30 free trial has run out. Windows Explorer can see into the TIB file but is very unstable. File transfers frequently hang in the middle.

How can I reliably access the contents of the TIB file now? I ideally want to extract all the files so I don't need to use True Image at all (should have done this while the 2012 trial was still working, but hey). I tried to do this is Windows Explorer but it hangs each time.

Thanks.

TI is the only program that will access the backups. If you don't want to purchase TI you could try restoring the files using the trial version (use the TI CD if the Windows version isn't working). If you have your TI 2010 CD you should be able to use that.
