My Backups option on AT1 2011 Home screen does not link to Timeline Explorer

Thread needs solution

Hi there

Just wondering if anyone out there is experiencing the same issue that I am, namely that the My Backups option on the AT1 2011 Home screen does not link to Timeline Explorer. I have a number of backups taken but when I double click the link nothing happens.

Is this a known fault or something new? If the former than does any one know how to fix this. If the latter then how do I log a support ticket with Acronis Technical Support.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Regards

SC

Support link in upper right corner of this webpage. Login to your personal account and with your serial number, you can create a support ticket.

You might try using the "Browse for Backup" option and once you find and click on it, choose the "add tp baclup list" and that might update the timeline list.

Support ticket information is item 1-Z inside my highlighted index --signature link below.

Hi Grover

Thanks for taking the trouble to respond. Have tried all suggested but to avail. Clicking My backups resolutely does nothing although I know that in the past it did display the Timeline Explorer. Looks like an uninstall/reinstall is on the cards...had hoped to avoid this (sigh).

I have the exact same problem. I'm also running ATI 2011. I tried the "Browse for Backup" and added all the backups to the list but it didn't have any effect. I also tried uninstall, reboot, then reinstall. No help. Does anyone have any other ideas, or shall I just submit a support ticket?

Hello all,

Thank you very much for posting. I will definitely help you with this issue.

Grover, your help is always very much appreciated.

Solly, you can contact our Support team from your Acronis web-account. Please check this article for instructions.

Solly and Ascopes,

This could be a program issue but it is not certain at the moment.

I would really appreciate if you can provide me with additional information so that I can have more information about this problem:

1. Did this issue start after system recovery?

2. Please send me a private message with AcronisInfo report.

3. And a screenshot of the missing item.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

use windows explorer to see if the backup files are all there where they are supposed to be. If so, then this is probably a problem with the ati database and how, in ati2011 it tries to track backups. If any backups are missing then this is a rarer issue, possibly caused by crossed linkIDs in the database, which can cuase some backups to be deleted and the timeline and My Backups screen to be out of whack -- if this latter prob definitely report it to support.

Anton,

No, it did not start after a system recovery.
All the backups are present & visible, but NOTHING happens when I click "My backups". No timeline appears.

I'll send you the AcronisInfo.zip file vis private message.

Scott,

Thanks for the suggestions. All the backup files are there. The time line is visible if I select a single backup, but nothing happens (no timeline appears) when I select "My backups" at the top of the main screen.

Hello all,

I would like to thank everyone for their valuable contribution to this thread.

We were able to reproduce this issue in our testing lab. There is no information when this fix will be implemented but as soon as I have any information I will update this thread.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

I have the same problem with build 5519. Clicking or double clicking on My Backups does nothing. Put me on the list for a fix notice too.
