Naming of full Backup file

Thread needs solution

How can I make ATIH 2012 remember the full backup filename.
Version 2010 remembers it.
Example: W-7 (C)@date@_@time@

This will save my backup with a unique date and time. I keep ten daily backups on a separate hard drive.

Thank you.

Hallo Fred,

ATIH 2012 will keep Backup filename as well, unless you edit once your tasks. Did you change once the backupsettings, like backupname on an existing task?

If yes...ATIH can not remember anymore the date & time.

Don't get upset. This is one of 100 bugs in Acronis.

Check out Figure 8 at this link.

In order to name the backup file, you need to proceed to the destination or target storage file and do the naming from there. File naming cannot be done by changing the task name.

Using parenthesis can cause problems as TI uses them as well. I suggest you not use them. I would also recommend the ending character be a dash or underscore so to separate any numbers that might be put there by TI.

current
W-7 (C)@date@_@time@

maybe
W-7_C_@date@_@time@_
