Need to copy Windows 7 boot partition to new hard drive

Thread needs solution

I have Disk Director and True Image but I'm not sure how to do this - I thought about using "Clone Disk" in True Image, but it seems to have to copy both partitions on the drive in order to work.

Acronis cloning is at disk level. The target disk becomes identical to the source disk.

Using the Recovery method, it is possible to recover or duplicate single partitions. Keep in mind however, if you are want to have a new Win7 bootable disk, most Win7 installations have separate boot partitions which must be restored to the drives as well as the main user drive.

Open Windows Disk Management and look at the physical layout of your disk as to how many partitions you have and how they are sequenced.
