Need to delete TIH 2009 before installing TIH 2011?

Do I need to delete TIH 2009 before installing TIH 2011? Or does 2011 overwrite 2009?
I presume it is not possible to have both versions installed at the same time...

It's generally recommended to uninstall the previous version before installing the new one. It just seems to work better and seems to avoid some potential problems.

You can't have multiple versions of TI installed at the same time.

Either way you try it, make sure to have a current backup image of the Windows partition. If things to wrong, it may be easier to just restore.
