Need help with uninstall remnants

Thread needs solution

I uninstalled Acronis quite a long time ago. I'm guessing around 2 years. I see that I still have something called Acronis Scheduler2 Service. It seems to be found under C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\Acronis\Schedule2\Schedule2.exe

Since it apparently did not uninstall when the program uninstalled, how do I get rid of this, safely, without causing problems to my system.

I've had this problem since uninstalling, too. Mildly frustrating since it frequently drops critical error messages in the System log:

The Acronis Scheduler2 Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the path specified.

I've found some references left in the registry, but I don't want to do anything out of fear of breaking things:

HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_ACRSCH2SVC\
HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\AcrSch2Svc\
HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Enum\Root\LEGACY_ACRSCH2SVC\
HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\AcrSch2Svc\
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_ACRSCH2SVC\
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AcrSch2Svc\

What if you download the Acronis schedule manager here http://kb.acronis.com/content/1859 and use it to uninstall?
I've never tried this, Maybe it is cleaner.

Or, did you use the cleanup tool here: http://kb.acronis.com/content/14871 ?

Aha... Success. I used 1859, but it wasn't very clear on how to use it to uninstall.
Then I found this:

Unregistering Acronis Scheduler Service

Thanks!
