Needing...True Image 11 Build # 8101

Thread needs solution

I've learned my lesson...

I love Acronis and have been using it for several years, but from now on I'm going to wait at least 6 months to a year before upgrading to any new versions that come out.

I installed Acronis True Image Home 2010 and I created a backup, verified it, and then when I went to test it by seeing if I could restore my system (I wanna see it work...) it cannot read the backup file.

So, I still had my previous back up file and recovery disc from True Image 11 Home and was able to restore to before I had installed the new version. (when I went from Acronis True Image 8.0 to 2009 it would not work, but I tried again after a few months with a more current build and it worked than)

Now, I'm back on True Image 11 Home - Build # 8053 which works just fine except for one small quirk...after I restore a file the machine hangs up with some odd error message in DOS. All I have to do is turn it comepletely off, and it boots and performs perfectly.

So, in an effort to fix that I'd like to be able to download a more current build for version 11 other than 8053 which should be True Image 11 Home - Build # 8101...but when I login, it's not there.

I can download the latest version of 2010 (which I won't be even trying to us for a few more months till they get all the kinks worked out), and I can download the most current build of the 2009 version...but there's no True Image 11 Home - Build # 8101

How, where can I get that other than loggin in to my account at Acronis.com???
(been purchasing under the same email address for years)

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to solve the issue.

In order to download the latest builds the serial number for the product should be registered. I have registered the serial number for Acronis True Image 11 Home under your account. Now you can download the latest build 8101 from your account under registered products.

If the issue won’t be resolved after installing the latest build please describe the issue in more details. Have you validated the backup archive by means of software validation tool before restoration? In case the issue remains please provide the full error message you receive.
