Neither touchpad nor bluetooth mouse work in recovery environment

Thread needs solution

I have created a bootable media in a USB flash drive using TrueImage2010 tool. When I boot with the USB drive, my notebook's touchpad and my bluetooth mouse cease working (the latter I understand), so I cannot select any option nor do anything.
I read somewhere that this was solved using the bootable media provided by Acronis at the website, so I downloaded it, formatted the USB drive as bootable and tried it this way, and the result is the same.
Strange, if I connect to my notebook a USB mouse, it works !!!
Any ideas ? Thanks

It's probably just a question of the drivers on the bootCD --the bootcd runs linux and doesn't always havedrivers that fit you particular hardware. It's a slightly diff batch of drivers in the download version of the BootCD. Sometimes one of the startup parameters can do the trick but that's trial and error till you find one that helps. If you can get it work with a USB mouse you might just consider going with that. Othersie, you can contact Tech and follow their instructins for getting them info on your situation and they can probably send diff iso files to burn to CD to make BootCDE that will work for you.
