Network backup error
Having recently upgraded to 2014, i tried backing up across my network, and the pc crashed.
The pc is a win 7 32bit pc, and i tried to backup from a network connected western digital media player (with internal hard drive) to an external usb hard drive directly connected to the win7 pc.
Acronis allowed the source to be the wd media player and the destination to be the usb hard drive. The process started and ran for about half an hour before it stopped and the pc was totally unresponsive. Could not stop the backup with task manager or any means. Had to use reset button on pc.
I know this could have many causes including windows issue, but was the backup routine something that Acronis should handle or not, and if so any suggestions as to why the pc crashed?
Thanks

Hi, and thanks again. So its not something that acronis cant do, well thats good. I realize it could also be a windoze problem as well. Ill check the source hard drive as well as I can. The only way is across the network so ill give it a go. Is there a better network file and disc analyser than the windoze one?
