"New Hardware Detected" each time TI2014 is Run

I've encountered an issue that has spanned years and versions of TI and which apparently has never really been resolved: every time I run TI, I get the message that new hardware has been detected. While activation is successful, the same message occurs the next time the program is run. Any ideas about how to resolve this problem would be appreciated.
