No Upgrade for 2013 Family with plus pack

Thread needs solution

No option to upgrade my family pack 2013 with plus to 2014 premium family pack.
All it has is this.
Upgrade from either True Image 2014 3 PC Family Pack or True Image 2014 Premium to True Image 2014 Premium 3PC Family Pack. Comes with 5GB of free Cloud Storage for one year.

Scott,

I'm unsure what you mean, surely that is what you want to do, select the 2014 Family Premium version as an upgrade, or have I not understood correctly?

Ah, I think I see what you mean, you click on upgrade and it says just Premium Upgrade instead of Premium Family Upgrade.

I'll alert Acronis to this.

Every time I look for this I find something different!? Today I did manage to find a link to a Family Pack upgrade for only $49.95 (vs $90 bucks otherwise):

http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/transfer-pc-files/

Click on the 3 PCs tab and there's (for me anyway) a cart button below the $99.99 that sez "Upgrade for $49.99".

Clicking on that puts into the cart "1 Premium Family Pack Upgrade" but then the description is hosed! "Upgrade from either True Image 2014 3 PC Family Pack or True Image 2014 Premium to True Image 2014 Premium 3PC Family Pack. Comes with 5GB of free Cloud Storage for one year."

Presumably this would provide e.g. 3 2014 Upgrade licenses that I could use with my 3 2012 Plus Pack licenses.

With TI 2014 Premium Plus Family Pack you get one licence number that can be used on up to 3 machines. I have tried it and it definitely works that way.

The pricing is very confusing. At least Acronis sent me an email with information on upgrading from 2013 Plus Pack to 2014 Premium.

Ian

Ian please advise: did you Upgrade from an older version?

When I upgraded to 2012 in Dec 2011, I got one license but then they offered me two more for cheap, so I bought them. I would assume now that I can upgrade to a 2014 Premium Family Pack but maybe that's an erroneous assumption on my part...

???

I upgraded from 2013 Plus Pack (single licence) to the 2014 Premium Family Pack. I got an email from Acronis about upgrading to the Plus Pack to 2014 Premium. When I followed the link in the email I could change from single licence to family pack when making the order.

However, my situation may have been confused as I already had 2 2014 licence (free upgrade from 2013 purchased a month ago).

Ian

(edited to replace 'from' with 'to')

Thanks Ian--I guess I don't have a 2012 "Family Pack" then, just 3 individual licenses, so attempting to buy the 2014 Family Pack Premium as an upgrade might result in a failure to function (wrong type of license as "prior").

Oh well, I needed a reason to NOT upgrade to 2014 anyway. I get excited about a "good deal" and then as it turns-out 2014 really doesn't have anything for me, not at this time yet anyway.

Thanks again for responding.
