no usb mouse in bootable media
I have tried the 2013 trial, hoping it was a fix, but it has the same problem, no solution. I've bought True Image versions 10, 11, 2011, 2012 and all have worked (in their way).
I just replaced motherboard to Asus Sabertooth Z77 and now I have no USB mouse in Acronis TI bootable media (2011, 2012, 2013).
Same USB Mouse still works fine in bootable 10 and 11 (on this same motherboard), but they do not see USB 3.0 disk.
I tried bootable media on a different old computer, with MS USB mouse. It works if a PS/2 adapter is used, but also fails if direct USB. No PS/2 port now.
A friend tells me his Logitech wireless USB mouse works in 2011, but mine does not, in any later version. The USB mouse (Logitech wireless) does work in BIOS, Windows, and True Image in Windows, but that does not restore my system.
I tried the 2013 TI trial hoping for a fix, but it does not work either. No USB mouse in bootable media. Nothing is usable to restore. The Mousekeys numpad sort of almost works, but I need better.
This appears to be a years old problem, with many reports. Is there a USB mouse solution, or is it now my time for different backup software? Thanks.

Sorry, Pat - Not at all.
I have a Z77-based motherboard (Asus Sabetooth Z77), and the boot options you pointed us to had no effect. I still don't have a mouse or keyboard available when I select True Image Home 2013.
The odd thing is, I can use my mouse/keyboard within the rescue disk's Acronis tool selector, but once I select going into True Image 2013, I lose both the mouse and keyboard.

Alan,
I am afraid your only option is to upgrade to the Plus Pack and create a WinPE-based disk. THis uses Windows drivers (not Linux drivers). THe only downside is that the Plus Pack is a paid-for upgrade, the process is a bit arcane and the boot time is a bit slower. The upside is that you can also create alternatively a MustangPE-based recovery environment which is a very convenient one.

I have an Asus Z77 motherboard and recall same problem with wireless mouse/keyboard. Updating Bios to version 1805 cured problem.

Is there an article dealing with how to do this?
I have this mouse problem and I own the Plus Pack.
