Non-stop backup causes high cpu activity with Microsoft Security Essentials
Whenever I open a folder, cpu occupancy goes high for many seconds as msmpeng.exe service (part of MSE) examines files. Looking more closely it seems that the problem is the file syncagent.log which TrueImage 2013 is constantly updating - MSE works hard on this each time a folder is opened.
The only way to get the computer to behave normally was to exclude this file from Microsoft Security Essentials realtime scanning, in the MSE settings.
Is this a known problem with TrueImage, or a problem with my PC?

Hi, I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials on a PC without any Acronis backup software, and I got the same symptoms (high cpu for msmpeng.exe during long periods of time).
I solved the problem by uninstalling MSE and using another security software.
