Non-stop backup schedules vs regular backup schedules

Thread needs solution

I am new to Acronis 2010 and thought using Non-stop backup would be a great idea. On older versions of Acronis, I would create an initial backup and then schedule incremental backups nightly. Each month I would repeat this process. I assume that using Non-stop backup eliminates this process. The question is, when you set up Non-stop backup, does it create a new schedule task and, do you remove any normal backup tasks that you might have already created? My guess is that would be the case. Just confirming.

It's supposed to run continous recording changes every 5 minutes. You have an icon in the tray. Problem is, it doesn't always work. I had it working for a few days then it stopped and refused to restart. It says it can't access the storage but the drive it is storing to seems to be working fine. There are 3 threads started about NSB problems, but the one that got a reply from acronis is:
