Nonstop Backup Issue

I didn't know that nonstop backup was started on my computer. I have since stopped and disabled it but has some of my files are marked protected continuously by this nonstop backup and when I click on this it takes me to the Acronis screen. How can I unlock these files. They are part of an old program that was removed except of these protected files.
