Nonstop backup stopped and refuses to start

Since the 2nd of january 2014 my nonstop backup stopped working and almost immediately stops after restarting it. Errors in the log state multiple instances of "Invalid internal API usage. Probably the stream is corrupted or archive options are incorrect" Event code: 0x001703E9

I completely erased the nonstop backup and recreated it again. It seems to have been completed completely after running several hours. Then the internal API usage messages reappear and a message pops up in the log "Consolidation has failed" Event code: 0x006B0000.

Any ideas?
