Nonstop Restore Problems

Thread needs solution

Using Acronis True Image 2012 nonstop I tried to restore a certain day and time. Within windows 7 64-bit acronis seemed to hang on "calculating" the time, after 10 minutes of no additional activity, I canceled, then rebooted into acronis boot disk.

There were several entries for each backup time. For example, a run time at 3:00 pm would be listed 5 times, 3:00, 3:00, 3:00, 3:00, 3:00. I picked the first entry and restored. After acronis finished, upon booting the following message appeared "bootmgr is missing" "pres ctrl + alt + del to restart". I did and the same message.

So, I tried another restore from a time with only ONE entry, for example: 2:00 pm. Unfortunately, after rebooting the same error message appeared.

The only way to get back into windows was to recover from a complete disk backup that was not nonstop.

I'm posting here to let acronis know of the problem.

FYI:
This issue may or may not be related to acronis try and decide that is having problems with the Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 SSD. Acronis has promised a fix for that issue.
