NVIDIA nForce RAID Device not available as source drive

Thread needs solution

After reading knowledge base article 1565: "RAID Arrays Acronis True Image Products Support" I decided to purchase Acronis True Image 2010. Needless to say I'm having issues.

Simply put the RAID 0 device is not listed as a source device from the "Disk and Partition" wizard.

The drive is visible from Windows and you can perform a "My Data" backup from the drive but I was wanting to do a full backup of the drive rather than a file level backup.

Thanks for your help.

I'll attach NFO and other files as requested.

Hello Michael,

I will do everything possible in order to resolve the issue you experience.

Please make sure that you are using the latest build of the program. Check it in Help -> About. You can always download the latest build of the program from your account under Registered Products.

The probable reason for the issue is incorrect install of SnapAPi drivers. In order to solve it please do the following:

·  Download SnapAPI update

·  Unpack the archive and run the SnapAPISetup.msi file;

·  Go through the wizard screens and hit Proceed to install the update.

Let us know if the issue persists.

If the issue persists please attach Acronis Report to your next reply available at http://download.acronis.com/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it. Please compress the Acronis Report output file into an archive (e.g. with WinZip). This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.
