(Old Question) Seagate Drive with TrueImage 2013 Does Not Back Up!

Thread needs solution

We are trying to create a disk image for both our PC's hard drive (C) and a Western Digital My Passport Essential. Neither backup has worked since March (for the C drive) or February (for the Passport).

Unfortunately, despite repeated emails to Acronis, nothing has changed--we have not received any solution.

We expect Acronis to provide appropriate information for resolving the problem, starting with advising us what information we still need to submit. If we cannot use the product within the next 30 days, we will advise our network that Acronis does not care about its customers.

Maybe then the time has come to pay for Acronis support, and if they find there is a bug the support fee will be refunded. This is a user forum, not an Acronis support forum, although Acronis do occasionally wander in here and sniff the air.

To my knowledge there is no known general problem in accessing WD Passport drives, apart from in the past where the WD Passport disk managing software has been installed which can clash with other disk software.

It would also be useful if you could either refer back to whichever of your previous posts this thread refers to, or just jot down a brief synopsis of the problem.

If you are using Bitlocker on the external drive(s), imaging will fail.
