One Year with Acronis
All I can say is that software is absolute garbage.
No matter what I do it will not do as it is supposed to do.
1 - Will not auto clean no matter what I do
2 - Will not make working backups
3 - Will not auto verify working backup (can't because it can't back anything up.)
4 - I constantly changes the default storage area
This worked maybe 5 times in the last year.

I have to agree. ACRONIS = GARBAGE, there is no other way to describe the piece of sh@@@@ they sell as software. I bough Acronis 2014 in August of 2013. Installed it on my Windows 7.00 Laptop. Made one backup with it. Now I want to make another one, all the buttons are greyed out and requires me to login to their Website. I did. There I registered the software again. To no solution. I have to remove this crap from my machine. Over the years, since Acronis 6.0, we have recommended it to every client. Despite its short comings and failings. Remember the days it would create a backup on CDs and then fails to restore them, claiming it was Corrupt.
Well. This is the last Acronis we buy or recommend.
I am throwing in the towel. I have used every version from 6 to 2014. Each release was worse than the one before. I was using 2014 in spite of a few problems until it stopped doing scheduled tasks. A reinstall returned that function. Now, it takes 3 hrs and 20 minutes to backup a drive with 144gb from an internal SATA drive to another internal SATA drive. I download a trial copy of a competing program and it did the same backup in 22 minutes. Needless to say, I purchased a license and will be saying goodbye to Acronis.
