Online Backup Barf? Event code: 0x00980192

I was one of the few people who had achieved some success with the OLB service and I stated as much elsewhere in this thread. Regrettably, the service just stopped working for me some time back in December. Failure warnings every single day. Since my subscription was expiring in January anyway, I didn't bother to troubleshoot. I punted.

I tried several other services over the last month (Mozy, Carbonite, iDrive and CrashPlan). Although I do feel it is somewhat disrespectful to trumpet a competitor's product in these forums, I can say with almost no equivocation that CrashPlan worked better than the rest. It is the lightest and fastest service I've tried (I would place iDrive second).

I gave Acronis alot of my time and, frankly, very little of my money. This product simply does not work and I am glad I was fortunate enough not to have had a data losing event over the period of this experiment.
