Suggestion:

Please give the scroll box more room on the status form for Online Backup.

It is not possible to see more than one line in it at a time and I would like to see the current file AND the data transfer rate at the same time. See http://screencast.com/t/N2VkMjY1N

I' also like to see some sort of status on it i.e MB transferred/MB remaining as on large backups it just looks frozen and isn't clear that it is actually doing anything. How about a second progress bar for the current file only?

mmm, Jing, I never heard of it before!

I understand what you mean, especially when large files are being transferred nothing appears to change. Although in my experience so far you can be sure that data is being transferred if it continues to show 'the same'. The way I manage and store data means I can usually see which file is being backed up but I do take your point that long path names may mean things look very static, although I have no experience of such a thing yet.

Your suggestions are good ones I think.

For now I use and recommend some freeware called Netmeter which is useful in many circumstances when uploading or downloading and not only in this case. Amongst other things it shows real time transfer rates and keeps all sorts of totals and is very configurable to individual requirements. Although it won't show you which files are being transferred! From my observations so far the indicated transfer rate shown by the Acronis software is an average since the transfer began.
