Online backup subscription expired
I recently updated from the trial version of ATIH 2012 (build 5545) to the full version (same build). Since then, I have been getting constant reminders that my online backup subscription has expired. In spite of deleting the message, it still comes back every time I launch ATIH. Does anyone know how to permanently delete this message? I don't want to use online backup.

Click on your user-name at the top of the screen and click logout.
Be warned however and sync task you have will now not work because you are not logged in.
This is IMHO a crazy situation and not very well thought out. There should be no need for an on-line backup subscription to use sync nor any need to have to use your Acronis account to set up a sync with folders on your local network/usb/NAS devices. There should only be a need to log in IF and only IF you need to sync across the internet, that is the only reason I can see to use an Acronis server.
You should ONLY see the subscription expired message IF you have an on-line backup task configured. It should also be possible to delete the task AND the associated data IF you no longer wish to subscribe.
Also as far as I can see even if you are logged in sync ONLY works IF you are logged in with Admin privs, sync will not work when logged in as a limited user. At least not for me.
Again another set of points that falls on deaf ears at Acronis.

Thanks RayG.
I'd discovered the "log out" option to get rid of the message but then it comes back again when I log in again.
I don't think I'll use sync (do my own backups instead), so I'll just make sure that I am permanently "logged out".

So there's no real solution for this? Sync seems to work, but it's slow. I'm blocked from even contacting support about this.

Hi Jason
Sync may work for you but I have had no success at all on this when logged in as a limited user.

I followed your suggestion Ray G - logged out - closed ATI - re opened ATI - no more message. Will see how things go - thanks.
Been using ATI for years, since ATI 8 - never had this issue before.
