Outlook 2007 Backup & Restore.

Thread needs solution

I recently purchased True Image 2015.

I'm getting ready to replace my the primary 500GB drive on my wife's system with a 250GB SSD. Pretty much the only thing she uses the system for is browsing the web and email, using Outlook as her email client.

My question:

Is there an easy way to backup her email data *and settings* and then restore them once I replace the drive and rebuild the OS from scratch? I do have the pst file saved and have no problem getting here personal data back but over the last 7-8 years and having rebuilt my systems a number of times the problem is always the same.... I spend the next two days getting the outlook settings back to what they were when I started the system rebuild. I'm not talking about setting up the email addresses. That's easy. I'm mainly talking about contact groups. They seem to get hosed every time I restore Outlook stuff. The groups are there but they aren't recognized by various programs until I delete them and then recreate them and set their properties accordingly.

I thought Acronis would do this seamlessly when I purchased it but then I found out that Acronis had done away with the Outlook backup function. maybe I'm missing something here but this doesn't really seem to be an improvement to the Acronis.

Hopefully, someone here can give me some recommendation on how I can do a backup and restore of Outlook data only.
