после нажатия кнопки "Выбор архива" Acronis True Image Home виснет

Thread needs solution

Выбираю архивацию Мои данные. Выбираю папку которую нужно архивировать. После нажатия кнопки "Выбор архива" программа виснет.
Если выбрать архивацию целого раздела, состояния системы - кнопка "Выбор архива" работает.

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help. 

To resolve the issue please disable Distributed Link Tracking Client service:

- In Windows XP:

Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative tools -> Services -> , find "Distributed Link Tracking Client" and double-click on it

Click the "STOP" button to stop the service.

Then right-click it choose properties and set startup type to Disabled.

- In Windows Vista/7:

1) Click on the START button and type "services".
2) Click on "services" from the menu.
3) Click "Continue" when the UAC prompt appears .
4) In the list of services shown, find "Distributed Link Tracking Client" and double-click on it.
5) Click the "STOP" button to stop the service.
6) From the drop-down list choose "Disabled".
7) Click "OK" and close the list of Services.
Check if the issue persists. If the issue still remains, please obtain  userdump file and attach it to your next post.

архивация приостанавливается на некоторых файлах и требует ручного ответа .
а в чем тут причина? можна ли сделать так, чтобы такие файлы пропускались при архивировании автоматически?

Thank you for your response.

There can be several reasons of the encountered issue, for example, file system errors, AntiVirus software, etc. 

You may use Silent Mode to ignore the errors (Tools and Utilities -> Options -> Backup options -> Error handling -> Mark the Do not show messages and dialogs while processing (Silent mode) box).

Or you can perform a partition backup instead of data backup. This type of backup uses another principles, and probably, you will be able to get rid of these errors.

странно, выполняю эти настройки - все равно выбивает сообщение
этот файл проводником тоже не копируется
наверное Silent mode не всегда помогает?

Actually, Silent mode should work. The issue with Silent mode has been addressed in the latest build of Acronis True Image Home 2009 (#9809). Please update the program and see if the issue remains. You can learn more on how to download the latest build in this article

Back to the initial issue. 

Could you please check the disks for errors?
- Go to the Command Prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd)
- Enter the command: "chkdsk DISK: /r"
where DISK is the partition letter you need to check. Please note, that
checking the C: drive may require you to reboot the machine.

If the issue remains, download Acronis Report utility available here and run it, create a report and attach the file to your next post. Please compress the Acronis Report output file into an archive (e.g. with WinZip) and attach to your message by browsing for the archive.

This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

в оболочке программы ее архив открывается, а просто в проводнике Виндовс при двойном щелчке ничего не происходит
а на другом ПК работает

Добрый день!
Столкнулся с вышеупомянутой проблемой (win XP SP3, True Image 2009 сборка 9809), но выключение службы "Клиент отслеживания изменившихся связей" не принесло положительных результатов - программа всё также "подвисает", хотя в диспечере задач она отображена как работающая...

Let me assist you.

First of all I may suggest you to check your drivers for errors:

Could you please check the disks for errors?

- Go to the Command Prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd)
- Enter the command: "chkdsk X: /r"
where X is the partition letter you need to check. Please note, that checking the C: drive may require you to reboot the machine.

If you still can't use the software, please update Acronis SnapAPI driver to overcome the issue:

  • Download SnapAPI update
  • Unpack the archive and run the SnapAPISetup.msi file;

  • Go through the wizard screens and hit Proceed to install the update.
  • (!) You will need to reboot the machine to finish the installation.
