Pre-Sales Support (Product Questions)
Hello,
A company is implementing cloud imaging in an office. It has seven PCs with TI2014 installed (two 3-packs and a 1-user). Can just cloud storage be purchased and have 2014 utilize it (a la http://www.acronis.com/en-us/personal/pc-mac-backup/#cloud-storage) or would it be best to upgrade to 2015 unlimited? I do appreciate 2014's mount and try feature.
Please explain how the cloud option works:
Is cloud backup the same as having a second drive for image destinations?
Will it retain multiple full images and increments (daily images for x days/weeks)?
Does Acronis have an option to throttle the upload speed? Seven P. C.s sending the first images would saturate the connection for a week or two.
Your assistance is appreciated.
Ryan

Hello Ryan,
welcome to our forum!
You can purchase Cloud Subscription separately and it will be compatible with Acronis True Image 2014 (250GB, 500GB and 1TB available).
Acronis True Image 2015 Unlimited provides unlimited Cloud storage. (please read Fair Usage Policy below)
Only first backup in Acronis Cloud is created as a full one, all further backups of the same machine are incremental ones. Here you can find more information about Acronis Cloud usage in Acronis True Image 2015.
And yes, there is an option which allows throttling an upload speed. It is available in backup options: Performance - Limit transfer rate to.
Can you please let me know which phone number have you used to contact us (in a PM). The thing is that we don't provide phone support for pre-sales questions, only chat and email. You can refer to this page for the list of support options.
Thank you.

Per post #3, there are a few other questions:
Can the cloud storage be applied to unlimited systems? The 1TB option should cover the seven workstations for which protection is intended.
Can the 1TB option be expanded to 1.5, 2 or greater?
Will True Image 2014 install on Windows Server 2008? I understand it is not supported.
If no to the previous question, can the cloud storage be utilized by a standalone client or in some other form? I would like to connect to it to send Win Server backups made by Windows.
Thank you,
Ryan

Ryan,
This forum is not the right communication medium with Acronis. Here you have only users, and, rarely, Acronis community managers. You should ask your questions to Acronis support/sales directly.
