Problem with ATI2014 Bld 6688/Win 7 Pro
I'm a long time Acronis user (started with TI2008). Its been really reliable since ATI2010 (except for 2015).
My first problem with ATI2014 Build 6688. Been using ATI2014 since Aug of 2014. Its worked flawlessly. But something started this month.
My backup plan is this: I do a full backup and then I do incrementals every week on Friday PM's. These are not scheduled. After about 3 months I will Do a fresh full backup (in a different sub directory of my USB 3.0 external drive). I'll keep the previous backups, until my next cycle. Next cycle I delete the backups in Acronis, and start a new full backup.
The problem is ! I started a new cycle on 04/04/15. Backup was good (validated). On 04/10/15 I ran a incremental - Ran fine. On 04/17/15, I ran another backup, but it ended in an error. I missed the error, and never seen it. I have no idea why ! Today, 04/24/15 I went to backup and seen the error. Well viewing the error log doesn't do anything. I tried twice to backup an incremental to that full backup, and all attempts end with an error immediately upon starting the backup. To make sure I validated the backup, it was clean. I decided to do another full backup to another directory on the same external disk to see if would work. It worked and a validation said it was OK. I tried another incremental on the 04/04/15 backup after the validation and it failed again.
I saved the log files, took a peek, and there has to be 200 files in the log zip file. Looks like greek to me.
Since this is ATI2014, I have NO ACRONIS support. Does anybody here know how to read these log files ? Or Is there something I've not done right to cause this error ?
