Problem with cloning

Thread needs solution

I recently installed an SSD in my Win7 x64 system with the intention of moving my C: partition (containing my OS and apps) to it. My C: partition is on a drive with two other partitions. My plan was to clone directly from C: to the SSD with TI Home 2011. No dice, I discovered, as TI only clones entire disks, and the SSD isn't big enough to accommodate all the partitions.

My next thought was to restore an image of C: to the SSD. If I go the "Recover last version" route (which lets me select the MBR), however, TI won't let me select where to restore to and warns if I proceed all data on the system partition will be replaced, making my system unbootable. Same with "Explore all versions/Disks and partitions."

If I try "Explore all versions/Files and folders" I can select a new location, but the SSD isn't one of the choices. Plus, I don't think this mode will pick up everything I need (like MBR).

Any suggestions, including other s/w?
