Problem cloning
Purchased Acronis True Image 2015 upgrade from 2014. It is build 6055. The purpose of my purchase was to secure a clone of my hard drive before adding any program. I now find myself unable to clone! The program installed well, took the key that I had been given, and told me all was well. I went to clone in my normal way, using a USB 3.0 dock for a 1 TB drive. All was exactly the same as when I used 2014. It goes through the routine of asking for the source drive and destination drive, and says a reboot is necessary. All normal. My system shuts down, and reboots to the Acronis Loader. It comes then with the normal time line while it is working, but then tells me that one of my peripheral disks has not loaded. I can Wait, say NO and continue, or I can cancel. I have said NO four times now after checking that everything has loaded normally. Then, instead of proceeding, it simply goes to a normal reboot for Windows (Pro 64 bit). Tried to contact Acronis about this, but without an error code, the form will simply NOT PROCESS. How do I proceed?

I see that Acronis lists me as a beginner. Not too accurate there. I just shut down my website londoncircle.com, and have been using Acronis for years. I'm not cloning a laptop hard disk, I've had great success with Acronis TI 2014 in cloning my 1.5 TB drive to a 1.0 TB drive using a USB 3.0 dock. Acronis 2015 leaves me with no way to contact support which, I think you will agree, sucks.

None of which acknowledges Grover's prudent advice: it's always safest to clone from the ATI Rescue Media.
Even safer would be to perform a full disk mode backup and restore it.

None of which resolves my problem with Acronis True Home 2015 and total lack of support. Sorry guys, but you obviously like what you're getting while I do not like was I'm experiencing. I'm on this forum hoping that someone would have an answer or perhaps explain how I could get support from Acronis. Without an error code, no support request is accepted - ergo no support. Perhaps Macrium Reflect provides better service.

I have had no luck to clone my disk with previous build of 2015. It is stopped right after "reboot you PC" message, telling me something about unable to do something with acronis boot agent. Ok, I used bootable media. It cloned successfully, but windows not booted for some reason. Ok... tried to restore full backup image to SSD - it failed at the end of restore with no error code. The solution was to remove 2015 completely and installing 2014 back. It did the job. Thanks, acronis, for my lost day.
I don't approve suggestions like "Better to perform the clone when booted from the TI Recovery CD"
This is not acceptable. If product have built-in feature, it should work. If it's not working it should be fixed.
The list of known issues in 6055 contains CC errors
"Universal Boot Media does not see Windows 7 recovered from a specific image.
It is impossible to recover data in the disk mode from a sector-by-sector backup of an SSD drive to the same location."
WTF? We bought an alpha version?

George,
If within 30 days of purchase of 2015, direct upport from Acronis is available to you.
Register your serial number and then contact support via Live Chat.
Support option along left margin and contact begins in upper right corner of this page.
Sometimes connecting via a usb2 port or usb2 cable enables viewing.

Macrium reflect is the best solution if you don't need FTP transfer feature, but ftp feature could be implemented with script aid. I've already moved to it, good luck!
