Problem with cloning disk - can't find new disk after re-boot
The source disk is a 60gb SSD (Corsair) which became to small and should be cloned into a new 120gd SSD (OCZ). The new disk is recognized by either W7x64 (operating system) and also by latest version of Acronis software.
When I chose the option to clone the disk everything looks fine until the system asks to restart the system. Windows shuts down and reboots and the Acronis clone function copies the source disk, but then for about a minute nothing seems to work. Then an error message shows up saying "Disk not found - press any key to restart system".
I tried several options, but nothing worked - I always get the error that the new drive cannot be found. After the system is started the new harddrive can be found working without any obvious problems.
Why does the clone function not work?

When replacing your system disk, best results are obtain if you
1. Remove the source disk and place it in another accessible location.
2. Boot from the TI Rescue CD and perform the procedure when booted from the CD.
3. Afterwards, shutdwon and disconnect the source so the only drive attached is the new one on first bootup.
