Problem with scheduled back up - frequent failures due to login failure
Hello all,
I'm new here...have just noticed that my scheduled back ups (3:20 am daily) have only been working infrequently which is a little scary. From the Tasks and Event Log window I can see that it has only worked 2 days out of the month so far. Clicking on one of the failed days at random, I see this message:
Error: Scheduler is unable to run the task"} with GUID 14C58B63-C483-42B3-9DF9-2FA3BF387441} because of the error 1327 (Logon failure: user account restriction. Possible reasons are blank passwords not allowed, logon hour restrictions, or a policy restriction has been enforced
I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit.
When I tried to create a new back up task in the wizard, I noticed a space under user name for a password. The user name is the name of my PC but I don't remember entering a password here and anyway, how come the back up works some days and not others if it needs this password?
Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks very much!
Pam
