Problems with creating and restoring images using USB or CD/DVD
I am trying to create a back up of a Windows 7 machine which I would like to restore at a later point of time.
I have Acronis Media_5-9 iso file with me which I have burned on to a CD/DVD and am using for trying to create and restore the Windows image.
I am able to create a windows image backup on the local machine (using Acronis Secure Zone) and the restore also works fine
If I try to use a USB drive for the process, the .tib file gets created on the USB Drive successfully and when I restore, it shows completed successfully but the machine does not go back to the expected state.
If I try to use a CD/DVD for the process, I am not even able to create an image since it does not give me an option to insert a fresh CD/DVD where I can write the backup.
Request some help in letting me know where I am going wrong.
Thanks in advance!

If your backup to usb disk is a disk/partition backup (not files only type), check this link. Either 3 or 2 or 1 should work. Since you have tried and had a not working, be sure and use the Recover Disk Signature option when doing the restore. This option is on the same screen where target disk is selected. Do the recovery when booted from the TI Bootable Media.
