re-start after timeout ?
I'm trying to archive files off to DVD and Acronis wrote 7 DVD's and timed-out before finishing the last 2.
[I have now set the timeout to infinity]
Is it possible to re-start a back-up if the routine has timed out ?
ie I don't want to have to write the DVD's all over again . . so is there a way to pick up from where the routine timed-out ?

good point. Thanks for that.

I did what you suggested. Acronis compiled the data to 3 files on the c: which I will burn onto 3 x DVD's.
When the destination was a DVD, I was up to 7 DVD's and that was when it timed-out.
The files seem to be there so I don't understand how that works. Anyway, it was a good tip. Many thanks

I have a rather odd timeout problem.
I get the message: the last backup has been cancelled by timeout.
BUT: when I check the log it says: operation has succeeded. And indeed that seems to be correct.
In a way this isn't a problem as the backup is being made, but I'd still like to know why I'm getting the timeout message, and if possible correct it.
Thanks in advance....
