Recovering a backup

Run chkdsk /r on the target drive. True Image will stumble on the slightest hardware defect which Windows will happily ignore.

I get this Unable to read sector XXXXXXXX (Last I think but who knows) every time. I get it when doing a restore form an external usb 3 drive. This is really a pain. I just ignore ti and the restore seems to work but it is a worry. As said above, acronis chokes on the slightest hardware problem. You shoudl NOT , better to get a 99.99999% rtesotre than NOTHING.

Below is CHKDSK result and as you can see, NO PROBLEM in windows 8.
Same for SCANDSK.
