Thread needs solution

I am running 2013 Plus for my back-up on XP OS. I am thinking chaning my OS to Win 7 32 bit version. I have some softwares that are upgrades. If I change the OS to 7 and then copy back the softwares on OS 7 platform - will that work? I have upgrade disk for some softwares, Others are downloaded from the Internet. My concern is even those softawre I have CDs - during installtion it may look for previous version. If they do then - I will not be able to re-install the soft wares. That is why I am thinking of making an mirror image of the the disk and re-install all the software except XP.
Can I do this?
Your help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Greetings,
Sorry, this is not possible. This is not a limitation of Acronis, its just not how windows XP > Windows 7 works. Further there is no true upgrade path from XP to windows7 or later. The word "upgrade" refers to you getting a new OS, not you keeping your installed programs. What you get is a fresh copy of windows 7. You install your programs, then windows easy transfer will copy your profile, user setting and data. Your applications/programs have to be re-installed before your user settings and data are copied back to the new OS.
