Recovery Does Not Allow Sorting

When using ATIH 2012, in recovery mode, the file chooser appears to allow you to sort by different columns, but when you click on them, the triangle changes column and/or direction (up or down) but the files in the list don't change. The sort is Name A-Z and that seems to be fixed.
