Removable media unbootable

While performing a full disk backup and after selecting the removable media settings option to include

1.- Acronis True Image
2.- Acronis System Report
3.- One click restore

Note that I also selected to encrypt this backup

Once I finish the backup and try to boot directly from the usb hard drive where I saved the image, nothing happens. It seems like the removable hard drive is not bootable (even if encrypted it should at least ask for the password prior to booting).

Please advice.

Hi Carlos, which version of Windows are you using? Is the system set up to be able to boot from the CD drive and does it work with any other bootable media such as Windows ?
Encryption will only affect the actual backup data as you say.
