Rescue Disk Recovery Module Does Not See all Backup Files

Thread needs solution

Windows 8.1 x64 and ATIH2014 build 6688.

I have both disk images and file backups made within the Windows environment. The backup .tib files are stored on an external USB HD. All images are validated upon completion. Within the Windows environment, ATI2014 Recover module sees all the backups, folders, and individual files. Double-clicking a .tib file also shows all the files.

However, when I boot with the USB rescue disk created from within ATI2014-6688, not all the individual files are shown when perusing the file tree (I am selecting files/folders restore, not the disk images). Specifically, the Quicken folder shows several folders within it but 3-individual files are not shown. I've tried everything I can think of to get those 3 files to show in the selection window but I can't. What's interesting is that if I do a TEST restore on the entire Quicken folder, those 3 files are recovered.

There may be other folders acting this way also. I haven't looked that deep into the files.

Perhaps there is something I'm doing incorrectly in the Linux environment. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions.

When booting from the CD, most often, user has to "browse" to the desired storage folder and specifically choose the tib file needed for restore. Drive letters could differ as to where as the CD is normally Linux sofware.
The doc /text files are usually found inside the backup located
c:\users\your user name\documents

When I boot from the rescue media, I choose File/Folder Recovery and browse to the most recent file backup. I select that backup and the file folder tree is displayed on the left for selecting the desired file(s) for restore. If I click on a folder in the left pane, shouldn't all the contents of that folder be displayed in the right pane? Because when I do that only partial contents of the folder are shown in the right pane. In the Quicken example, there are 5 folders and 3 individual files within the main Quicken folder shown in the tree. When I click on the Quicken folder, only 1 folder and 1 individual file are displayed in the right pane.

Thanks for your help GroverH!

It appears that all the files are in the backups. When using the recovery module within Windows, I find all the files. Double-clicking a .tib file also shows all files. It's just a bit puzzling why they would not show when booting with rescue media and browsing the backups. It would be hard to restore an individual file this way because they're not all shown. Restoring the parent folder though does restore all the files within the folder even though they may not all be shown when browsing for them.
