[resolved] clone disk - reboot 3ware 9650 (9650-4lp)

Thread needs solution

i'm trying to migrate a single sata hdd to a 3ware 9650 (9650-4lp) raid 1 system.

the original hdd is a seagate 250 gb, 1. partition 10gb, 2. partiion 100 gb. the target is a 2 TB Raid 1,
letting acronis automatic grown.

in preview it displays, 1. partition gets 80 GB, 2. one the rest.

when i press "start", the computer unexptected reboots.
i'm using Acronis True Image Home 2012 Plus Pack Standard
Product native bootable media Build: #7133

i think i've hit a bug, how to troubleshoot this issue and track it down to submit (where) ?

It's not a bug. It is normal that ATI must reboot the computer to perform the clone.

But, we advise that you should perform clones after booting from the ATI bootable Rescue Media. Once booted to that, make sure that ATI can see both drives.

Where are both those drives currently? (i.e. are they installed in the PC, is one using an external interface, etc?)

sorry, i'm already using the native bootable media (iso file burned to cd) and there should not be a reboot, when it begins, cause this OS is not started and there can't be a lock on any volume (not mounted)

the source is attached to the internal onboard sata controller on the mainboard,
the destionation is on pci-express 3ware raid controller.

after i did a bios update and used a internal IDE dvd rom, it worked without reboot.
before i used an external usb dvd-rom

this is absolut surely a big bug and should be solved, since i can't always open the PC to attach an internal connected optical drive
