Restore Problem
I am using Windows 7 and have today installed Acronis TI 2010.
I created a backup and validated it. This backup was to my second internal HDD. To see if it would restore, I replaced my" C" HDD( I disconected it in the tower) with a spare HDD I had. I did a restore and everything worked.
I then disconeccted the newly restored HDD and reconected my original C drive. When trying to boot up I got ablack screen with a message saying that the "Boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible" error OxC000000e.
I had to repair using the W 7 disk.
Can anyone please tell me why this should happen. The first restore onto the newly formatted HDD worked. Thanks. J

Thank you. I cannot understand what happened because as far as I know, all I did was disconnect the drive, reconnect and then was unable to boot into windows 7 without a repair.
It is working now ok, so I have not gor a problem, it just occurred to me, that if I have to do a restore, the same thing may happen. J
