Restore from SATA drive to 2TB Raid 1 Hybrid SATA SSD/HDD.

I am trying to restore a backup from a SATA 2TB drive (backup on USB drive) to a 2TB RAID 1 drive with two 2TB SATA III Hybrid drives - SSD/HDD. Errors writning to sector 0 (among others). Even tried to clone with no success.
Is it possible to restore to a hybrid drive? Or do i have to reinstall everything?
Intel RAID Controller.
