restore/recovery only via web interface?

First of all sorry if this has been asked before, i could not find it.
I'm trying out ATI with the online backup option. Backup is no problem, all goes smoothly. However, when i try to restore an online backup or some of the files in it by pressing the recover button in the client interface, it always sends me to the web-interface. Is it not possible from the client interface or did i miss a setting somewhere?
Also, on the web-interface, the Recover button is greyed out, i can only download.
Is this by design?

Edit, found in the manual already that the only way to recover is by going to the website and download the files one needs. I don't understand why this limitation but well...
