I believe I am currently restoring a backup. The screen is just filling with rows and rows of white dots on a black background.

Is the restore running correctly or should I abort?

I have problem restoring a full back to my Windows 7.
After completing the restore, it took a few seconds to confirm restore was successful. However it did not restore anything. I have about 930gb data from an external disk that eas backed up and it would take a few hours to complete a full restore.
But the computer was rebooted and the result was "Windows failed to start"

How can I reboot and restart the computer.
