Scheduled backup jobs

Hi, I am trying to set up scheduled backup jobs in True Image 2015. I have set up a daily files backup that runs at 10am every morning.

A couple of questions:

Acronis does not seem to have set up any scheduled tasks in Windows task scheduler to accomplish these backups so I am left scratching my head as to how on earth Acronis implements this feature. Needless to say the 2015 manual does not help in the slightest in explaining how it works.

Also, it never asked me for user authentication details to run the backup job so presumably I have to be logged on to make it run!

The annoying thing is that according to some "how to" videos I have seen on youtube, this process is a lot simpler and transparent in earlier versions of True Image.

OK, I have figured it out. Acronis uses a service called Acronis Scheduler2 to schedule backup jobs and does not use the Windows task scheduler. The YouTube videos I saw were for earlier versions of True Image which apparently did use the Windows scheduler.

Now I just have to see whether it actually works.
