Scheduled Tasks unvisible, but still running

Thread needs solution

When I open the userinterface TI2015, my jobs were no longer displayed, but they still seem to run. So there is no way to edit them.

Further on it breaks the limits for max. size.

QuixX, it sounds like something in your ATIH 2015 installation has become corrupted or damaged if your backup tasks (jobs) are no longer being shown in the main GUI.

I would recommend trying a Repair install of the application to see if this will resolve the issue.

To do a Repair install, simply download the full ATIH 2015 latest installer from your Acronis account downloads page, then install over the top of your current application.

Steve, thank you for your reply.

I have completely deinstalled and reinstalled TI 2015. Then newly set up the jobs, and I let run the big one.

By closing the UI and re-opening, the two task were gone again, but the big one still runs.

I have no idea.

QuixX, at this point the only further action I can recommend is to do a complete clean install of ATIH 2015 so that all data related to the software has been purged.

To do a clean install, do the following:

Uninstall your current ATIH 2015 normally (again!) using the Control Panel.

Download the Acronis Cleanup Tool (link below in my signature).  Run this as Administrator then restart the computer.

Install ATIH 2015 latest build installer again.

This type of install will remove all your previous backup tasks and task history and associated data which a repair install doesn't touch, so you will need to recreate / configure your backup tasks.

If you wish, you can save a copy of the C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts folder contents, wher the .TIS files in this folder hold your task configuration data but not any schedule information for the task.  You could restore the relevant .TIS files back to this folder after doing the clean install.  You can open the .TIS files with Notepad to see which task they relate to - the task name is near the top of the file.

Hi there again.

Although there was no registry-match for the requested manual cleanups, the "cleanup-tool" from your signature seems to solve my issue.

Thank you for your assistance.

Thanks for the feedback and glad to hear that doing the cleanup looks to have resolved the issue you were seeing.
