Scheduler In Trial Version

Thread needs solution

I'm just trying out TI 2013 and, after five days, I have noticed that neither of the two scheduled backups have been happening. Does this not work in the trial version?

Yes, the scheduler works in the trial version.

There is a known issue that is under investigation and a fix should be coming in a later build, but there is a workaround for it. I am assuming that you are running Windows 8. The "Fast startup" option being enabled causes the Acronis scheduler to stop working when activated. (It is enabled by default in Windows 8.)
The Acronis Scheduler stops working after selecting Shutdown and powering the system back on, but will resume working correctly if you select Restart in Windows. There is some type of compatibility issue with Windows 8 "Fast startup".

You can disable the "Fast startup" option and the scheduler then works okay.
If you do not wish to disable "Fast startup", you can use the Windows Scheduler to run your backup tasks.
