Second schedules task does not launch
I'm under Acronis Home 2010, build 7046.
I created a scheduled task to run on a USB HD 3 times a week.Every thing is fine.
Later on ,I created a second sheduled task to run the other days of the week, on an internal HD.
That second task has never launched yet. I deleted it and recreated it ,but still idle.
Thanks

Hi Anton,
I ran Acronis Recovery and Backup 10 and it's still idle.
Was it the correct one or should I have downloaded the other one?

Hello Romeo,
Please download and run the "other" one. See if the issue is resolved.
If not, reboot the machine and recreate that scheduled task.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

Hi Antoin,
I installed the other scheduler, deleted/recreated my task and I was greeted by a ''Login error''.I rebooted too.
I checked my login credentials with the other task that works and they are identical.
All Acronis services are set to ''Automatic''
Attached is the log generated by the last launching.
P.S. I don ot have a password for my tasks.

Hello Romeo!
Thank you for the log specified and for your cooperation, I highly appreciate it.
This login error usually appears when some service login information corrupted. In this case we usually suggest clean reinstallation, that will wipe out the mess in the drivers and login information:
- Remove current version of Acronis True Image Home 2010 by means of Add/Remove programs
- Then download Acronis Clean Up Utility, unpack and run it;
- Please choose to delete all Acronis products from the system;
- You will be asked to close Windows Explorer instances since this is necessary to remove the tishell.dll and timounter.dll Acronis files, which interact with explorer.exe;
- You will be also asked to reboot the system to complete the uninstallation. You can reboot the system later.
After you've rebooted the machine, please reinstall the product and see whether the issue persists. Should it remain, please gather the following information:
- Acronis Info
- Scheduler report as described here
After that please kindly contact support directly with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.
Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!
Thank you!

Hello Yana,
What do you mean by that?
I did not find any uninstaller in Acronis?
Thank you.

Hi Romeo!
I'm awfully sorry for the mistake: some glitch occurred when I posted the reply, so it mamanged to eat a part of the phrase. I've just edited the post.
I meant that Acronis True Image Home 2010 should be removed forst be means of Add and Remove programs and then all traces cleared with the help of CleanUp Utility.
I'm awfully sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Thank you!

Hi Yana,
I did a clean reinstall as suggested.I still get an login error when I try to create a task.
Attached is the info file you asked for.The scheduler report is not there as I did not understand the explanations given by Acronis.
Thanks.

Romeo,
Which OS are you using?
Once you've downloaded the Acronis Scheduler Manager, you need to in XP click on your Windows Start button, click on the RUN option and then type in to the box the letters 'cmd' this will then open a command prompt box on your desktop. If you are using Vista or W7 the RUN option may not be on your Start Menu, in this case hold the Windows button down + r this will then open the RUN dialogue box - everything else after that is the same.
CMD BOX
Then type in the text as shown on the snip below. In my case the report will be found in c:\users\techman folder, yours might be different.

Hi Collin.
I'm under Windows xp for this computer.
I tried to run this command as per your very clear explanations and the prompt box says ''Schedmgr is not a valid command'' (my translation from French).
I copied/pasted it from the Acronis link.
Thanks for your help.

Romeo,
Which folder did you download the scheduler manager to?

Collins,
I downloaded that file on my desktop,if I understand your question correctly!

Romeo,
The first thing is, if you click on the schedmgr.exe file does it open up a Windows Command box as shown in the screen shot? If it does, then we know the file isn't corrupted.
Move the file to your ABR10\BackupAndRecovery folder.
Then try the previous instructions.

Hi Collin,
The schedmgr.exe works and is not corrupted.
I don't understand what you mean by ''Move the file to your ABR10\BackupAndRecovery folder.''
Thanks.

Romeo,
So when you click on schedmgr by itself you get the same screen as I've shown in post 14?
By moving the file, I mean cut the schedmgr.exe file that you've downloaded to your desktop and paste it into your ABR10\BackupAndRecovery folder.
If you have installed ABR10 in it's default location, this will be C:\program files\Acronis\ABR10\BackupAndRecovery

Hi Colin,
Yes I got the same screen.
Your explanations are now very clear to me.
I uninstalled Acronis 2010, as I spent more time trying to make it work correctly than actually using it.
Later on, Iwill try what you suggested.
Thank you for your help.
